Daingean were defeated by St Brigid’s in the Intermediate Championship last Sunday on a scoreline of 0-11 to 2-11. The concession of two first half goals meant Daingean had it all to do at half time as the score was 0-06 to 2-06 in St Brigid's favour. Although the lads battled hard and never gave up, the 6 points advantage proved to be an insurmountable lead and Croghan ran out the winners. Croghan now face Ferbane in the Internmediate Final

Division 3 League Final
Daingean were defeated by Ballycommon last Friday night on a scoreline of 2-14 to 1-11. Ballycommon were at a higher tempo throughout and had a match sharpness that Daingean were lacking.
At halftime the score was 1-07 to 0-6 in Ballycommon’s favour with Daingean missing a penalty just before the half time whistle.
Within 5 minutes of resumption of the 2nd half, Ballycommon scored 1-03 without reply, they had an insurmountable lead at this stage and went on to win the match by 6 points.

St Vincent’s Annual General meeting takes place on Friday 19th of October at 8pm in The Old School in Daingean.
Please make an effort to attend if you have interest in helping out with the running of the Parish's Juvenile club.
It was with great sadness that the community of Daingean learned of
the passing of Seamus McEvoy last week, Seamus was a well known figure
in the community who was always willing to offer his support and help to
any fundraising events. He was also a keen follower of Daingean GAA and could be always found on
the sideline supporting the team and his sons Alan and Ciará
n. He is survived by his loving wife Marie, sons Alan and Ciarán, sister Brid and brother Ollie.May he Rest In Peace.
Daingean are through to Semi-Final of the Intermediate championship where they play St Brigid's.
